We got to give him his first bath since it took forever for his umbilical cord to fall over (4 weeks). He enjoyed it so much and it has become our routine now. Hopefully he will continue to love the water since his mama loves to be in the pool or at the beach!

Mason spends most of his day obviously pooping, eating and sleeping but when he is awake we do play and have fun! He loves to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and it plays on his mat. He  gets real quiet when he hears it and he looks in the direction of music. We also listen to fun music on the computer and we sing! I also read to him throughout the day whether its books for him or something I am reading (he cant understand whats being read anyway so does it really matter what is being read to him)!!    Going to brag on JC a little bit. He  has been absolutely awesome with Mason. For someone who has never really been around babies before, he took over and was ready to do whatever was needed. He changed the first diaper at the hospital and continued to change them all throughout our stay! That has become our thing at home, JC changes his diaper and I feed him (he does get to give him a bottle here and there). Works great! When he comes home from work, he gives me a kiss then immediately wants to take Mason from me or asks where he is. It was definately hard for him when he went back to work.
   You will also begin to see posts called "sneak attacks". I love to take pictures with JC and Mason when they dont know I am taking them. JC tries to get in on the game as well so I will post pictures when he "sneak attacks" me! He has only gotten me once. 
   Mason and JC are so in love with each other and there is nothing more sexy than seeing a father with his child! Makes me fall more in love with JC each day!

JC has been working but that doesnt mean his family doesnt want to enjoy Mason as well. His B-Ma and B-Pa have definately enjoyed coming over for the grandparent time and I have enjoyed their company as well. B-Pa has helped fix things around the house which has been nice! JC's mom brought Kassi over to visit since she is in town for a little while and it was nice for both of us to meet her. Uncle Matt even came over for a quick visit too!

   Mason finally got to meet his other cousins Tyler and Haley. I couldnt wait for them to meet Mason! They are both a huge part of my life! They came over along with Kiff and Evie so we had to take a sisterly picture with all of our kids! Turned out great. Mason also met his oldest cousin Max who came by for a visit. Still waiting on Blake and McKenna to meet him! Jax has met him but more to come on that.

Going Home

   Like I said before, we went home January 1, 2011. I could not have been more excited about going home. Start feeling like your in jail and they wont let you leave. All I wanted was some food and a good shower (which i took the first chance i got!).
   Over the next few days we had quite a few things go on. Early on I found these fun stickers that you place on white onsies to document their first 12 months. He also got a chair with his name on it for Christmas which will be where all of his pictures will be taken his first year! Of course we had to do this right when we got home and he did not like it one bit!! Its fun for us though! Also, to honor Grandma, we put him in his "I love Grandma" outfit but before she could see him in it, he threw up all over it. Good thing we got pictures.
   He also met his Aunt Fee and cousin Evie when they came into town on Thursday, January 6th. Aunt Fee is expecting her 2nd kid in September after years of trying so we are adding more to the family tribe! Mason made grandkid #9!!

From our first family photo to visitors at the hospital it was a whirlwind 2 days. Yes, we had lots of family and friends come and visit Mason and we mainly only took pictures of family with Mason. Sorry for forgetting and that was something I definately wanted to do. The grandparents were the first visitors but his aunts and uncles were the first "official" visitors! Aunt Denee and Uncle Lance were the first people to come and see us. Papa then came to see his newest grandson! Then Aunt Britni and Uncle Matt came up followed by my moms husband Kelly. The next day Candice and Casey, Amy, Uncle Pablo and his mom Denise all came to visit!
